Redwood Deck with Patio CoverBig Green Egg BBQ StationsDeck with Stairs

Decks and Patio Covers expertly built

This 19' x 17' Redwood deck nicely fitted into the existing landscape.

Before (left):
The slightly sloped backyard limited usability and imposed continuous maintenance for the family. The existing concrete patio was too small for a table with four chairs and restricted the possibility for playing, living and entertaining.

After (below):
We extended the usable deck area four fold and used the slope to our advantage. A set of wide, comfortable stairs leads to the rest of the garden. The large open deck area allows for sharing of spaces between toys and comfortable seating.

Existing flowerbeds and plants were incorporated into the design and make the structure appear as if it had always been there.

Bottom Left:
Existing edging was used as a transition between the deck and the flowerbeds. All surfaces directly in contact with soil were specially treated and protected with waterproofing materials.

Bottom Right:
Adequate drainage and access for the existing shrubs and ventilation for the rain gutter spout were engineered into the projects from the beginning. Long, diagonally installed decking Adds beauty, minimizes rot endangered end grain and ensures durability.

A stylish extension of a family's out door living space.
